Each individual that chooses to enter therapy has their own unique challenges, needs, wants, and goals. My objective as a counselor is to support individuals and couples as they discover their own personal strengths, gain insight into their core values and beliefs and develop healthy coping skills.
As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor I work with clients who need assistance improving understanding, gaining effective coping skills, and creating healthy relationships. I work with those experiencing depression/anxiety, stress, behavioral challenges, relationship and marital distress, domestic violence, trauma, and pornography/sexual addictions.
I believe therapy is a collaborative journey between the client and therapist. I strive to build a relationship with my clients that is based on mutual honesty and respect so clients can become empowered and overcome the challenges that have impacted their functioning and happiness.
