Divorce is considered by mental health professionals to be
one of the single most stressful events an individual can endure. Navigating that pain completely alone is
unimaginable, but more importantly, unnecessary. In this program, Life After Divorce, Lisa
Hartle, CLC, and Steve Eastmond, LCSW have put together a short but powerful interactive
seminar especially for LDS women survivors of divorce. This seminar is packed with principles that
combine mental health and behavioral science techniques that are supported and
even reinforced by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Their intention is to validate the pain that so many experience in
divorce, but more importantly to help women have an open, safe place in which to
come together in healing, faith, and strength and begin a new path of life
promised by the Savior when he said, “I am come that they might have life, and
that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).
In this conference Lisa and Steve combine their professional
training in a unique and special way in an effort to validate the complexities
and pains of divorce, but also to address the faith crises so many experience
as they navigate the collapse of many of their hopes and dreams for their
